Following Rainbow Jelly’s enormous critical and popular acclaim, director Soukarya Ghosal makes a comeback with Pokkhiraj er Dim. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Shrikant Mohta, and Mahendra Soni, the film is supported by the formidable partnership of Jio Studios and SVF Entertainment and is scheduled for release in theatres on June 13.

Deeply rooted in Bengali storytelling magic, Ghosal once again creates a story that appeals to both children and adults with its distinctive fusion of fantasy, science, and emotion.

Audiences were intrigued and excited when the creators unveiled Pokkhiraj er Dim’s official poster. The colourful image presents us with a peculiar, wide-eyed trio: Anumegha Banerjee and Mahabrata Basu as the two young leads, and Anirban Bhattacharya as the eccentric genius. The poster hints at a tale where wisdom and wonder collide with glowing elements, scientific doodles, and a sense of mystery surrounding what seems to be a mythical “egg”.

This summer release, which was directed by one of Bengal’s most creative storytellers, is looking to be a delightful diversion into the realm of intellect and imagination.
