The poster and promo launch of the upcoming Bengali film Abalamban took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Doyal Babu’s family consists of his widowed daughter-in-law Momota and grandchild Bijoy. On the other hand, another family consists of old aunt Sudha, Mou, and Shom. The two families have a common factor. Bijoy and Mou love each other. The two families also agreed to their marriage. However, they will get married after completing their studies and starting their own career. Bijoy goes to study engineering and Mou admits to a local college for further studies. Bijoy falls in love with Mahi and marries her. He brings his wife to his home. What happens next?

The film has been directed by Narugopal Mandal and the film has been produced by Supriya Pal.

The story is by Priya Paul and the script and dialogue have been penned by Narugopal Mandal.

Speaking at the occasion, the director said “I am honored and happy that I got to direct the veteran actor Late Soumitra Chatterjee for this film. That is a great experience for me as a director”.

The music has been composed by Nilakash Roy and Rabindranath Tagore. Anweshaa Dutta Gupta, Souvik Paul, Joy Shaaswat Bhattacharya, Sujoy Bhowmik, Moumita Roy, Kuheli Bose have lent their voices to the songs in the film. The lyrics have been written by Gautam Susmit and Smarajit Bandyopadhyay.

The cast of the film consists of Soumitra Chatterjee, Lily Chakraborty, Biswajit Chakraborty, Meghna Halder, Ranjan Bhattacharya, Priya Paul, Twinkle Basu, Palash Ganguly, and others.

The film is eyeing for release soon.
