The poster launch of the upcoming Bengali film Iskabon took place in the presence of the director Mandip Saha, the cast of the film consisting of Arindam Ganguly, Saanju, Anamika Chakraborty, Saurav Das, and others.

The film is the directorial debut of Mandip Saha. The director hails from a small town and aims to make powerful cinema with strong content.

The story of the film has been written by Radhamadhab Mondal.

Iskabon is based in a place called GolbibiBajar in Jangalmahal. How a local leader Narenji forms his own party and tries to fight for the rights of people is what the film is all about.  It also shows the love story between Golapi” and Lt Cornel Shib Mukherjee.

Love and politics form a very strong backdrop of the film.

Saanju who is debuting with this film will be seen playing the character of Lt Cornel Shib Mukherjee.

The cast of the film consists of Saurav Das, Anamika Chakraborty, Arindam Ganguly, Dulal Lahiri, Kharaj Mukherjee, Sumit Ganguly, Pushpita Mukhopadhyay and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, and others in pivotal roles.

Anindya Mukhopadhyay has composed the music of the movie. Nachiketa, Anweshaa Dutta Gupta, Rupankar Bagchi have lent their voices to the songs in the film.

Iskabon is being produced under the banner SMD Entertainment.

Iskabon has been shot in various locations of Kolkata, Jhargram, and Bolpur.

The film is eyeing for release soon.
