The poster of the upcoming Bengali film Pantua was graced by the cast and crew of the film.

The story of the film is about an elderly couple Ashutosh Bandopadhyay and his wife Uma Bandopadhyay. Despite being financially dependent, the couple feels the pangs of loneliness in their lives. Their son Saswata and his wife Madhurima died untimely in a car accident. To get rid of this feeling of loneliness, they go to Bolpur. They meet an orphan young girl Pantua who changes their lives. What happens next?

The story, script, and direction are by Raja Banerjee.

Rupankar, Indrani Sen, Ankita, Paran Bandopadhyay, and others will be singing the songs in the film. There are five songs in the film.
