Poster Of Bengali Film Hemanter Aparanha Out Now
The poster launch of the upcoming Bengali film Hemanter Aparanha was held at ICCR, Kolkata.
The poster was launched in the presence of director Goutam Ghose, director of the film, Ashoke Viswanathan, producer Amit Agarwal, and the cast of the film.
The movie, which was filmed in and around Kolkata, is set in the present COVID-19 pandemic and delves into the inner workings of the theatrical industry and the challenges artists face. The narrative’s central theme is investigating how individuals see their relationships with the behind-the-scenes activities in movies and theatres. Another important issue of this film is the relationship between anxiety depression and suicides in recent times.
Though the film deals with the agony of solitude of an elderly widower which was portrayed in few films in the past too, this time Ashoke Viswanathan interestingly has used a play of Luigi Pirandello as a parallel backdrop which is a new career in a widower’s life that keeps him going in life amidst pandemic crisis, Ukraine war, his attraction towards a female colleague and unknown fictitious women that haunts him.
The cast of the film consists of Anusha Viswanathan, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Satyapriya Mukhopadhyay, Bidipta Chakraborty, and others.
The music is composed by Gourab Chatterjee with songs by Lokhichara.
The cinematography is by Joydeep Bhowmick, and the editing is by Arghyakamal Mitra.
Hemanter Aparanha is produced by Amit Agarwal and Ashoke Viswanathan on behalf of ADARSH TELEMEDIA and AV PRODUCTIONS.
The film is getting released this June.
