The premiere of the Bengali film Purbo Paschim Dakkhin (Uttor Ashbei) took place recently in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Purbo Paschim Dakkhin (Uttor Ashbei) is directed by Rajarshi  Dey. Purbo Paschim Dakkhin (Uttor Ashbei) is the first paranormal film in Bengali film industry. The movie is an adaption of the best seller book Ebong Inquisition by Avik Sarkar.

The film’s cast consists of Kamleshwar Mukherjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Arpita Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, Gaurav Chakroborty, Arryan Bhowmick, Suchandra Vaaniya, Eshika Dey (Sacred Games Fame), Rudraprasad Sengupta, Bidipta Chakroborty, Padmanabha Dasgupta, Satrajit Sarkar Koushik Kar, Manobi Bandopadhyay, Malabika Sen, Daminee Basu, Richa Sharma and others in pivotal roles.

The music of the film has been composed by Debajyoti Mishra. The lyrics have been penned down by Anirban Mukhopadhyay.

The film is running at different single screens and multiplexes in the city.
