The premiere of the Bengali film Wrong Number took place recently. Present at the screening was the cast and crew of the film.

Wrong Number is the story of two urban boys named Sandy and Joy. Sandy hails from a quite well off family but chooses to stay in a rented flat outside home. He spends time as a guitarist and vocalist of a band without having to think much about earning a livelihood. His roommate Joy, a part time Bengali teacher of a school dreams to own a career of a professional writer. Having a very common middle class background he sends money for his family and also runs his living at his own efforts. One day Sandy uploads a song on YouTube, of Joy’s lyrics and the song becomes popular. What happens next?

The story and script has been done by Sourabh and Biswajit. The film is directed by Subhendu Pandit.

Produced by Swastika Entertainment, the cast of the film consists of Samadarshi Dutta, Sourabh Das, Sayani Ghosh, Durga, Biswajit Chakraborty, Bharat Kaul and others.

The music of the film is by Rahul Majumder and the songs have been sung by Rupam Islam, Timir Biswas, Sanchita Roy and Raj Barman.
