The premiere of the Bengali film Prapti took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

The director of the film is Anuraag Pati and the story is by Buddhadeb Guha.

Shoma and Sunanda, who have been married for almost a year, are the protagonists of the story. Sunanda works for the forest department in the town of ‘Bari,’ in the state of ‘Bihar.’ As a result, Shoma has no choice but to stay in the area. Shoma, on the other hand, appears to be unconcerned about anything in her family. Nothing can make her forget about ‘Bedey da,’ her true love. Shoma keeps writing letters to Bedey da, but no one responds. Bedey da shows up unannounced at Sunanda’s house one day to meet Shoma. Shoma’s mind is filled with an inexplicable joy. “Prapti” is about the moments created that day by these two pure souls.

The cast of the film consists of Samadarshi Dutta, Pratyusha Roslin, Debdut Ghosh, and Ananya Pal Bhattacharya.

The music of the film was composed by Sravan Bhattacharya. The songs have been sung by Rekha Bharadwaj, Sravan Bhattacharya, and Amrita Singh. The lyrics have been penned by Ritam Sen and Sravan Bhattacharya. The film has three songs- Raai, Raai (Reprise Version), and Shoi.

Sudeshna Roy praised the director for not taking all the credit himself but also bringing his team to the limelight. She asked the audience to come to the hall and watch this wonderful film.

The film got released at a limited number of halls in the first week but the makers hope that they will get more halls in the next week.
