Priyanka Sarkar and Debasish Mondal have paired up for the first time for the film Balmiki-A Saga Of A Common Man. The film will be directed by Sankha Bhattacharya.

In today’s world, good and evil exist side by side. Some choose the good side while others opt for the evil side. People who go against the tide are not much liked by the others in the society.

The story of this film is based on the backdrop of the destruction of Babri Masjid.

Priyanka and Debasish will be seen as extremely different characters in this film.

Rajatava Dutta will be seen in an important role in the film. Indrajit Majumder, Samrat Biswas, Sumana Mukhopadhyay, and others will be seen in other important roles in this upcoming Bengali film.

The cinematography will be handled by Subhodip Karmakar.

Music is another important aspect of the film. Debojyoti Mishra will compose the music for the film.

The song of Lalon Saiji served as the source of the story of the film.

There is also a wonderful song by Priyanka Sarkar and EPR in the film.

The shoot of this film will start from next week in Kolkata.
