The 4th Nirmayan Charity Pro Am Premium Golf Tournament title sponsorship was announced by Bridgestone India, a division of Bridgestone Corporation, a world leader in rubber and tyres. In addition to supporting this event, the company has donated thirty lac rupees to Chandigarh Spinal Rehab and the Indian Cancer Society in support of objectives that this association has identified.

The Golf tournament will be held at The Poona Club Golf Course. The auctioning of personal sports items, including that of Olympian, PV Sindhu is a highlight of the event.

This year’s tournament will see 108 players (27 Professionals, and 81 Amateurs) participate in the tournament along with star golfers like Anirban Lahiri, Shiv Kapur, Shubhankar Sharma, and SSP Chawrasia.

There is one professional and three amateurs competing in a modified Texas Scramble format. The best player’s ball of the four drives is chosen once each of the four team members has completed their drive. The balls of the other three players are picked up and moved to the ideal drive location. From that position, each of the four players takes their second shot. This procedure keeps going until the ball is holed.

The proceeds from the event will go to the Indian Cancer Society and Chandigarh Spinal Rehab, Chandigarh.
