Professor (Dr.) Partha S Ghosh has been named the new chairman of the Board of Governance of the JIS College of Engineering by the educational conglomerate JIS Group. He will also serve as the mentor and advisor for JIS Group-Educational Initiatives.

The announcement was made in the august presence of Prof (Dr) Partha Sarkar, Dr. Partha S Ghosh, Taranjit Singh, Dr. Sila Singh Ghosh, Mridul Pathak, and Bidyut Majumder.

Professor Ghosh was an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA, and the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur (IITKGP). He served as a partner and head of McKinsey in South East Asia, which included India, China, and Japan. The Partha Ghosh Academy of Leadership IIT, KGP, which was established this year, is also owned and founded by him. In addition to serving as the respected Chairman, Dr. Ghosh would serve as a mentor and advisor for the JIS Group’s educational initiatives.
