Prosenjit Chatterjee Graces Announcement Of National Expansion Plans Of Mitra Cafe
The Mitra Café was established in 1910 by Shri Sushil Roy. The renowned 115-year-old fast food brand announced the national expansion plans at their refurbished Dum Dum outlet.
The announcement was made in the presence of Tapash Roy, CEO of Mitra café, and Prosenjit Chatterjee.
The expansion plans of Mitra Café are as follows:
- They want to come up with 50 stores in five years.
- The brand will aim to expand its horizons beyond Bengal and go to places like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.
- A brand new contemporary look will be given to the Mitra Café outlets.
- More outlets of Kolkata will be inaugurated in Sodepur, Barasat, and Barackpore
Speaking at the occasion, Prosenjit Chatterjee said “Though I eat less due to my profession, I still love to gorge on good food. Mitra Café has been a well-known food brand for so many years. Their quality of food and their services have kept them popular among the people despite the emergence of many food brands”.
The iconic food joint is known for its Kabiraji, Cutlets, Chops, and Stews. They also have a diverse cuisine of Indian Bengali Tandoor and Chinese dishes.
The brand also undertakes catering services on different occasions.
Mitra Café has outlets in Sovabazar, Shyambazar, Gariahat-Golpark, Saltlake, Dum Dum, Birati, Diamond Plaza mall (2 outlets), Digha, and other cities. They have an outlet in Digha that is more than 3000 square feet. There are two outlets in Digha-Hakim Para and Cosmos Mall. Mitra Café has a sixty-cover restaurant in Puri-Odisha.
