Inspired by a real life incident, upcoming Bollywood film Bombairiya narrates the tale of film publicist Meghna, who gets her phone stolen in an unavoidable circumstance. Being the media representative of a public figure, her desperate attempt to get it back leads to several crazy and one very dangerous situation.

However, one of the key qualities a publicist must have is the ability to bend the truth. The media often have been accused of carrying fake news and we all know that this is a part of the public relations and communications game. People are hired to keep news out of the media almost as often as they are hired to publicize something or someone.

Bombairiya stars Radhika Apte in the lead alongside Siddhanth Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Adil Hussain, Shilpa Shukla, Ravi Kishan and Ajinkya Deo. The movie is presented by Kreo Films FZ and Beautiful Bay Entertainment and is slated to release on 11th January.
