The mahurat of Raghu Dakat, which will be produced by SVF and Dev Entertainment Ventures, was performed with great reverence on the holy day of Saraswati Pujo. It signaled the start of an ambitious filmmaking adventure.

Raghu Dakat is fantasy folklore that talks about a chapter in Bengal history where an icon rises to become a legend. This is the fictional story of 18th century “Bengal’s Robinhood”, a messiah who stood by the commoners against oppression and injustice. Despite being a fugitive, he fought to reinstate the law of the land.

Superstar Dev leads the cast, which includes Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar, Idhika Paul, and Roopa Ganguly.

The film will be directed by Dhrubo Banerjee.

The film crew honored the occasion as they prayed for divine favor for a prosperous endeavor.

Raghu Dakat is scheduled for a spectacular Pujo 2025 release and is expected to be a historic movie that combines folklore, history, and artistic genius.
