Raja Chanda directed film Amrapali was not released on the big screens but was released on the OTT platforms ZEE5 and Zee Bangla.

The film’s has a love triangle and there is a political backdrop to the story. The character of Ayoshi runs a flower shop titled Amrapali.

“I play the role of Payal. She is an independent and determined girl who loves her friends and family. She is aware of her limitations and is grounded. She is just like the girl next door and many people will be able to relate with her when they see the film” said the actress.

Ayoshi’s debut film in Bollywood Uma is also eyeing for release soon.

Real-life lovers Ayoshi and Somraj will be sharing screen space for the first time.

Sudip Mukherjee will be seen in an important role in the film.

A major part of the film’s shooting was completed in Bolpur.

The film’s cast consists of Bonny Sengupta, Ayoshi Talukdar, and Somraj. Bonny will be seen in a different role in this film. He was also hurt during the shoot of the film. He was busy with a mock fight sequence and then he got hurt during the fight. His co-actor was also much embarrassed due to this incident. This video has become quite popular on social media.

The screenplay has been written by Raja Chanda.

The film has been made under the banner of S3 Entertainment.
