Saurav Das, Devtanu, Manosi Sengupta, Paean Sarkar, and others graced the trailer launch of the web series Katakuti.

With Katakuti, director Raja Chanda is making his debut in the world of web series.

Speaking at the event, Paean Sarkar said “Raja is missing the event very much. Even before we got him admitted, he said that he will go to the teaser launch event and get himself treated so that he can attend the trailer launch. But thanks to the doctor’s intervention, he got himself admitted and treated in time. He told me not to be depressed when there are so many people who are there to support me and Raja during this time”.

The story of the web series revolves around Aditya who is a shy and introverted lad while Koushani is a straightforward girl. Their marriage is fixed. However, just before getting married, Koushani is murdered. This breaks down Aditya. But why is Koushani murdered? This will be answered in the upcoming Klikk series, Katakuti.

Manosi Sengupta said, “After the shoot was over, Raja da asked me about my experience of shooting the series. And I said that I had a good time but the director was very strict”.

Saurav Das said that he knew the director from a young age. He was doing theatre then. “It was a great experience to be a part of Raja da’s first web series. This is my first web series with Klikk as well. He is a creative person who works non-stop” said the actor.

Jammy has already worked with Raja Chanda seven times before. He was excited to be a part of the director’s first web series. With this series, Jammy also made his debut on the Klikk platform.

Devtanu revealed how he had skipped school to watch Raja Chanda’s films. and when he actually got the chance to work in a series directed by him, he was more than happy.

There will be six episodes in this series.

Saurav Das, Manosi Sengupta, Devtanu, Abhijit Guha, Paean Sarkar, Jammy Bandopadhyay, and others will be seen in important roles in the web series.

The series will release on 25^th March.
