With great enthusiasm, the much-awaited second edition of KCC Ramjhol, presented by Kolkata Centre For Creativity, was inaugurated. Sourendro-Soumyajit gave a musical performance during the big inaugural event.

KCC Ramjhol 2.0 emerges as a unique celebration that weaves together the rich cultural tapestry of Kolkata and Rajasthan while fostering sociability and interaction. The event exhibits Rajasthan’s vibrant legacy and fortifies the bonds between these two regions by combining art, craft, language, literature, and history. A multitude of expressive mediums, including music, narratives, dialogues, and conversations, come together to provide a multifaceted experience.

“Ramjhol 2.0 is a platform where cultures collide, ideas are shared, and relationships are made. It’s more than just a festival. Our mission is to promote a sense of community and appreciation for a variety of artistic mediums while honoring Rajasthan’s rich cultural legacy. Building on the success of our inaugural edition and uniting people via the force of creativity and cultural expression, we are thrilled to offer an even more vivid and captivating experience this year”, said Ms. Richa Agarwal, Chairperson of the Kolkata Centre for Creativity.

Ramjhol 2.0 aims to elevate the celebration with even greater energy and experience, building upon the success of Ramjhol 1.0, which drew an impressive crowd over three days and featured over 100 artists, performers, teachers, speakers, poets, and thinkers from Rajasthan and the surrounding community. In addition, the event will feature legendary performers from the fields of storytelling, music, and uncommon performances. The main objective is to provide a remarkable event that enthralls and motivates everyone involved. This methodical and careful approach guarantees that Ramjhol 2.0 not only fulfills but surpasses the high standards of its broad and discriminating viewership.
