The Salt Lake Sanskritik Sansad Committee & Sanmarg burnt a 20-feet tall Ravana effigy along with Meghnad and Kumbhakaran which were about 15 feet tall at the Central Park (Salt Lake), Kolkata.

The event was attended by Firhad Bobby Hakim, Chairman, Board of Administrators, KMC, Sujit Bose, Minister of State for Fire, Krishna Chakraborty, Mayor of Bidhannagar, Vivek Gupta, Ex-Member of Parliament, Lalit Beriwala, President of Salt Lake Sanskritik Sansad, and many others.

The main objective of this event was to provide an interface between the citizens and the rich culture and tradition of West Bengal.

The event drew thousands of devotees virtually.
