The shooting of the upcoming Bengali film Mukherjee Dar Bou is already in progress in different parts of Kolkata. Directed by Pritha Chakraborty, the story of the film is by Samragnee Bandopadhyay. The screenplay and dialogue is by Samragnee and Pritha.

The story of the film Mukherjee Dar Bou is about a modern dysfunctional family with special emphasis on the relationship of a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The story revolves around a Bengali home maker. Mukherjee Dar Bou (Aditi, played by Konineeca Banerjee) is married for more than ten years and has a daughter aged six years old. Anasua Majumdar is playing the role of her mother-in-law. Rituparna Sengupta is a psychologist in the film.

Konineeca Banerjee, Anasua Majumdar, Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Adhya, Biswanath Basu, Badshah Moitra will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The music of the film is by Indradip Dasgupta.

The film is being presented by Nandita Roy under Windows production house.

The expected date of release will be March 8, Women’s Day, since this is a Women’s Day special movie.
