Peerless Hotel Kolkata has come up with an amazing festival The Aromas Of Awadh.

“I always enjoy sharing my knowledge in this city since the locals appreciate the subtleties of well-prepared food. Most of the recipes employed in the Royal Kitchen of Awadh during the British rule have been passed down through the centuries, thanks to the legacy of my great-grandfather, the late Abdul Raheem Quraishi. Awadhi food has a very distinct vibrancy that sets it apart from other Indian cuisines. I used to spend my childhood years listening to my grandparents’ stories about the Nawabs—their way of life, customs, and Lucknowi cookery. I was particularly interested in the food, and my grandfather taught me how to prepare meals the old-fashioned way” said Chef Rehman Mujeebur.

The menu for the festival consists of dishes like Galawati Kebab, Lazeez Nazaqati Boti, Murgh Tikka Mirza Hasnu, Tamatri Mahi Tikka, Chowk Ke Tikki, Paneer Bukhara Tikka, Chanp Elichi Ka Shorba, Murgh Tamatam Shorba, Bhune Badam Jao Ka Shorba, Bhune Tamater Khumb Ka Shorba, Nazaqati Jheenga Korma, Nelofar Pomfret, Dum Ke Machli, Kacchi Machli Ka Salan, Lagan Ka Murgh, Dust Aur Nalli Ke Nehari, Dum Chaanp Kebab Masala, Mukummal Raan Khasgi, Paneer Hazrat Mahal, Zafrani Murgh Pulao, Dum Gosht Pulao, Gol Boti Pulao, Aloo Paneer Ke Tahiri, Khameeri Roti, Awadhi Naan, Chukander E Afroz and Anannas Halwa.
