If you want to relive all the college canteen memories in a whole new way and style, then head to Canteen Pub and Grub, located on the 3rd floor of City Centre 1, Salt Lake. The food joint is owned by Swastik Nag and is similar to the college canteens.

But the major difference from the regular college canteens is that along with the regular food counter comprising multi-cuisine dishes, the place also offers a bar counter.

The style of the place is contemporary with floral wallpapers, designer wooden works, an array of designer photo frames, and 80 inspired floorings. While on the other hand, it has its quirky quotient in the place with the potted plants everywhere, graffiti on the walls, recycled railway sleeper wood furniture, and neon signs.

The entire interior of the place is done by none other than the owner Swastik Nag.

Their Cocktail range is inspired by the ordinary roadside items of India. Some of the cocktails from their “Canteen Drinks” menu are Imli Chatka, Aam Janta, and so on. They have also introduced a Covid-19 special cocktail, Haldi Lagao Re.

The food joint also offers an extensive range of alcoholic beverages for the patrons too.

The food menu consists of Chilli Avocado Nigri, Sharabi Jhinga, Pizza Kosha, Kerala prawn curry with lemon, Misti Doi cheesecake, and many more.
