INIFD Salt Lake organized their annual graduating show ‘Elixir 2022’ recently.

The theme for this year is ‘Revival of Indian Art’. It focused on the weaves and fabrics of our country in its creative glory.

Graduating students presented their works at ITC Royal Bengal in the esteemed presence of renowned guests.

Guided by their experienced and professional faculty, the final-year students showcased their creativity with their curated designs. The designs are the result of their hard work and innovation, carefully conveyed into the spirit of their theme.

There is a sustained shift in the focus of fashion designers towards a more
responsible attitude towards the fashion environment in the country. Concepts like sustainability and valuing indigenous crafts in emerging designers’ mindsets are quickly gaining prominence.

The students hope this is the first step in identifying a way to address the changing climate of fashion by creating an environment where Indian art and motifs are celebrated with pomp.

Elixir 2022 saw the students and models walk the ramp in the
presence of renowned actor Abir Chatterjee, eminent fashion designers of the city, guests from the consulate, esteemed corporate guests, fashion retailers, and many more.
