The short film Coldfire directed by Riddhi Sen is going to be shown at the 26th Kolkata International Film Festival under the Short and Documentary Panorama (Non-competitive) section.

“Coldfire” is an adaptation of Nabarun Bhattacharya’s short story of the same name. The story revolves around Mr. K.P. Sarkar, one of the biggest real estate tycoons. He is approached by a salesman named G.B. who comes to sell him a mysterious product that he says will make the upper section of the society maintain their exclusivity even in their own funerals.

Produced by Kaleidoscope Production, the cast of the film consists of Koushik Sen, Somak Ghosh, Reshmi Sen (guest appearance).

The producer of the film is Samiran Das and the screenplay is by Aniruddha Dasgupta, Riddhi Sen.

The music has been composed by Prabuddha Bannerjee.
