In today’s times, since a majority of the parents are working, it becomes very difficult to give a child some time. Getting a vacation at the same time is also a problem for the parents. Keeping in mind this growing issue of modern society, the story of the film has been woven around this trend.

This is the director’s second film after Reunion.

Like his earlier film, the music of this film will also be composed by Joy Sarkar. There is a Rabindrasangeet in the film apart from three other songs.

Speaking at the announcement press meet, Rituparna Sengupta said “Many people say that I spend more time in Singapore now. But see even there also, I was thinking about Bengali films. I met the director there and I liked his story very much. Hence I asked him to go forward with the film”.

The actress also highlighted on the fact that individuals from different profession can also make film out of passion too.

This is the second film of Rituparna and Saswata Chatterjee after Parcel.

Saswata Chatterjee highlighted on the fact that in earlier days when people lived in joint families, the kids would not feel lonely as some other family member used to give him company if his parents were busy. But that is not the case now as most people live in nuclear families. Hence this film will tell the story of today’s times in a simple way.

The shooting of the film will begin from 10th December.
