The New York-based Mount Sinai Health System and Bengaluru, Karnataka-based Ramaiah Memorial Hospital (RMH), one of the top multi-super specialty quaternary care hospitals in India, signed an exclusive agreement. This marks the start of a revolutionary partnership that aims to advance healthcare services through collaborations in clinical excellence, quality of care, research, innovation, and technology.

By providing Mount Sinai’s support to the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital to further advance the development of its clinical competencies and centers of excellence in a host of select specialty areas, including but not limited to oncology, cardiology, neurosciences, urology-nephrology, and other clinical specialties, the collaboration, formalized through a long-term collaboration agreement, reinforces the commitment of both institutions.

To help Ramaiah determine the appropriate course of therapy for patients, a crucial part of the collaboration between Ramaiah and Mount Sinai will involve the regular evaluation of Ramaiah’s complicated clinical cases by top clinical specialists from both Ramaiah and Mount Sinai in a variety of clinical disciplines.

Together, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Mount Sinai hope to establish a successful partnership that will improve patient outcomes in India and the subcontinent while also setting new standards for healthcare delivery.
