Rotary India Centennial Summit 2020 Announced; Focus on 100 Years of Rotary
Rotary is celebrating 100 years in India and Mainland Asia. To commemorate this occasion, from 14th to 16th February, Rotary India Centennial Summit 2020 will be organized at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.
A press meet was organized to announce this conference.
The summit will be graced by the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu along with Governor of West Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankar and Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Sekhawat and Harsh Vardan. The current Rotary International President, Mark Maloney from USA will also be present along with International President (2021-22) Shekhar Mehta from Kolkata on the occasion.
Noted speakers like Rajendra Singh, Anshu Gupta, Mrs Rajshree Birla and others will be present at the summit.
Rotary in India also has the aim of doing about 10 percent of the work of the Government of India. Rotary in India also has pledged to do projects worth Rs 1500 crore.
Apart from discussions, there will also be cultural presentations at the summit.
