For the convenience of the competitors, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2024, the inaugural World Athletic Gold Label Race, detailed plans for race day on Sunday, December 15, including on-course, in-stadia, and medical facilities. An incredible 20,537 runners will compete in the renowned TSW 25K Kolkata, one of the largest running festivals in India.

Vivek Singh, Jt. MD, Procam International, said, “We have not only placed Calcutta on the global sporting map, but we have also given it a star to make it stand out. This is a participatory sport, where over 20,000 athletes run and put in months of blood, sweat, and tears to win their spot on the starting line, in contrast to spectator sports, where 22 athletes compete and 20,000 cheer. This event serves as a platform for inspiration in health, fitness, charity, pride, and solidarity, and it embodies Kolkata’s athletic spirit”.

The goal at the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2024 is to promote an environmentally responsible and socially inclusive event. The sustainability tenets serve as the foundation for the green programs, which emphasize waste reduction via the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Compost waste hierarchy.

For all fitness aficionados, the Mirchi Get Active Expo is a one-stop shop. It gives runners a chance to learn about the newest trends in lifestyle, health, and running. In addition, all confirmed participants must pick up their running bibs, review the schedule and instructions for race day, and take note of the security plans, traffic restrictions, road closures, and other rules that will be in effect on race day.

The two-day Mirchi Get Active Expo will be held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.
