As a stand-alone medical facility in Kolkata, Ruby General Hospital is proud of its independence and dedication to upholding its purpose of offering top-notch healthcare to the city’s residents and beyond as a Non-Resident Indian (NRl) Hospital among other private medical facilities.
The hospital has been expanding its facilities and changing throughout time to better serve the needs of the community. Currently housed in the same location, this facility spans three buildings (7 + 8 + 3) with a total of eight floors, occupying an area of over 2 lakh square feet. By the end of 2024, the number of beds will have increased to 556. In addition to the current 356 beds, they will add 200 new beds. To give back to the community, Ruby Cancer Centre has launched three cancer care vehicles that are outfitted with medical support to make it easier for radiation patients to get around the city daily. These locations are Esplanade, Bidhannagar, and Garia. This service will guarantee that patients receiving continuing radiation therapy have easy access to transportation to and from the hospital. Additionally, a special discount is being provided to all users of Metro Railway services on all Out Patient Department (OPD) treatment charges in consideration of global warming and the significance of sustainable practices.
