Hoichoi released the second song, “Aashbe Bole,” from its crime-drama series “Nikhoj“, which stars Swastika Mukherjee and Tota Roy Choudhury. This song was released with a bang after receiving a resounding response from the audience for the first song, Nikhoj Tui.

The national award-winning singer and composer Rupam Islam, who wrote and lent the voice for the two songs of the Original series, makes his web debut as a music director on the Nikhoj album.

The brilliantly written and emotionally charged song Aashbe Bole takes listeners on a moving journey about a mother’s unwavering search for her missing daughter, Diti. The tale will thoroughly engross the audience as they follow the mother as she questions potential suspects and goes through mental breakdowns because she can’t find her kid. The song also provides a look into Romit Sen’s reaction to Diti’s disappearance. It reflects on the special times Brinda Basu had with her daughter in the past as she examines her role as a dedicated single mother and a DCP working on the case.

“Working with Ayan Chakraborti is always fascinating. We have a great understanding of one another, which always helps. Nothing was different this time. I was aware of Ayan’s precise intentions when he presented me with the script. For me, music direction includes scoring the background music as well as writing the songs. I always begin with the BGM before listening to any music. This time as well, I started with the background music and based the title song on the main theme. There are two songs in this series. One I wrote especially for it, and the other was written and composed years before but works nicely here. I cherished working on this web series” said Rupam Islam.

The series will release on Hoichoi soon.
