A star-studded event welcomed Bonne Femme, the newest dining destination on the energetic streets of Gariahat, Kolkata. The event, which was hosted by the esteemed House of Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick, showcased the seamless fusion of culinary expertise and cinematic genius.

On this evening, the esteemed cast of the critically acclaimed film “Sada Ronger Prithibi” namely Devlina Kumar, Sauraseni Maitra, and director Rajshree Dey were present.

Tucked away in the centre of Rash Behari Avenue, Bonne Femme invited patrons to savour a delectable fusion of flavours created by culinary experts, all while indulging in the atmosphere of superb cinema.

Speaking at the event, the director said “The film received nine cuts. However there are much to see in the film about widow trafficking. I understand that a film cannot change the society. But we wanted to make the people aware that such heinous crimes are committed against the women”.

Sauraseni Maitra said “There is hardly any hero in the film. But the heroines in the film are the real heroes of the film. The story is also equally important. Not many of us were aware of widow trafficking before we did the film. But it has been an eye opener for us and we hope that it will be the same for the audience”.

Devlina Kumar thanked Bonne Femme for hosting them. She said “After you watch the film on 23^rd February, you can come and explore the amazing menu at this restaurant. The menu is a fine blend of flavours of Kolkata and Paris. It will make for an interesting food option for the patrons”.
