Sai Silks(Kalamandir) Limited (Sai Silks or SSKL) opened their historic 50th store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Sai Silks is one of the top retailers of ethnic clothing, particularly sarees, in South India in terms of revenue and profit after tax in Fiscal 2019, 2020, and 2021. The new SSKL store, which runs under the brand name “VaraMahalakshmi Silks,” is situated at 3rd Main Road in Anna Nagar, Chennai, and spans a space of more than 4000 square feet over two floors.

Renowned celebrities Radikaa Sarathkumar and Kushboo Sundar inaugurated Sai Silks’ VaraMahalakshmi store in Anna Nagar, Chennai.

The new VaraMahalakshmi store is the third of its kind in Tamil Nadu; the other two are situated on Gandhi Road, Kanchipuram, and Mylapore, Chennai. With a concentration on handlooms like Kanchipuram silk sarees, it houses high-end product offerings including a variety of sarees like Banarasi, Patola, Kota, Kanchipuram, Paithani, Organza, and Kuppadam. SSKL’s retail locations are dedicated to promoting India’s dynamic culture, customs, and legacy by providing a wide variety of products, including value fashion items as well as many kinds of ultra-premium and premium sarees and ethnic clothing.

The premium ethnic silk sarees and handlooms target, inter alia, wedding and occasional wear. VaraMahalakshmi sarees retail in the range of approximately Rs. 4,000 to Rs.250, 000.

This is the third store in the state and the 50th store across India. The VaraMahalakshmi format store offers our entire range of premium silk sarees and Kanchipuram sarees.

The VaraMahalakshmiretail brand format was established in 2011 with the first store opening in Chickpet, Bengaluru. Stores have been opened in cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijaywada, Nellore, etc. as of May 31, 2022.

Sai Silks has expanded its presence in the online e-commerce marketplace and started selling its products through its own online websites, www.kalamandir.com, www.brandmandir.com, www.kanchivml.com and www.klmfashionmall.com as well as through other third-party online e-commerce websites.
