After Madhuri Dixit’s entry in Marathi films, now Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata Dutt is producing a Marathi film Baba. The film is co-produced under their banner Sanjay S Dutt Productions, with Ashok Subhedar and Aarti Subhedar of Blue Mustang Creations. Ashok Subhedar and Aarti Subhedar of Blue Mustang Creations had earlier produced the film “Bucket List” starring Madhuri Dixit.

The teaser was unveiled recently. The first poster of Baba received overwhelming response and the producers now have released the first teaser of film with the tagline ‘Emotions Have No Language’.

“Baba” features Tanu Weds Manu and Hindi Medium fame actor Deepak Dobriyal , who is making his foray into his very first Marathi film, along with Nandita Patkar. They are supported by Spruha Joshi, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Chittaranjan Giri, Jaywant Wadkar and child artist Aaryan Menghji. The film is directed by Raj R Gupta, Director of “Dhaaga”, a Marathi short film released on Zee 5.

Sanjay Dutt on his twitter account recently had stated about his first film production and dedicated the first Marathi film to his father Sunil Dutt.

The teaser shows how a sweet boy is unable to speak. Despite the hardship, he is happy and enjoys his life with his parents in his small world perched atop a hill.

The movie will hit the silver screens on August 2, 2019.
