Tollywood actress Koneenica Banerjee inaugurated a silver jewellery store in South Kolkata-Karishmaz The Silver Story.

Koneenica Banerjee looked radiant in the silver jewellery that she wore at the launch event. This was part of the store’s Pujo collection.

Also gracing the occasion was owners and mother daughter duo Karishma Jaisingh and Tanisha Jaisingh Basu.

The brand has also customised jewellery for the popular song Rangabati from the recently released Bengali film Gotro.

Speaking at the occasion, the actress said “I am a huge fan of silver jewellery myself. I have a box full of different kinds of silver jewellery. The pieces displayed here are trendy and are extremely pocket friendly. It starts from Rs 325 and goes on up to three lakhs. I am feeling ecstatic wearing the pieces. Silver jewellery is also safe as one does not have to think twice about getting robbed”.

The Pujo collection consists of light modern silver pendants, earrings and rings in semi precious stones which is ideal for Saptami. Heavy antique layered statement necklaces, chunky balas, danglers all suit Ashtami. On Nabami, one can opt for tribal jewellery and chandrika earrings. For Bijoya Dashami, one can wear 92.5 silver necklace and earrings in semi-precious stone with gold plating.

Silver based mangalsutras, shankha pala, nose pins, noas and others are also available.

Also on offer is a wide collection of deity jewellery where gods and goddesses like Durga, Ganesh feature on the pieces.

Karishmaz also has kurta buttons, cufflinks for the men during the upcoming Durga Pujo.

The store is located at 131/1A, Dr Meghnad Saha Sarani, Southern Avenue, Kolkata-29. The store timing is from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm. The store will remain open on Sundays for Pujas.

They also have another outlet in New Market in 2008.
