We cannot always take from Nature. Sometimes it is our duty as citizens of this planet to do our best and conserve Nature. This is important or a dangerous future awaits us and our future generations. Understanding this duty, a nationwide plantation campaign was organized by Senco Gold & Diamonds to celebrate the New Year with appreciation and renewed hope.

Senco Teams planted around 1000 seedlings throughout all of its stores in various parts of the nation, including 300 saplings throughout its stores in Kolkata. Senco Gold & Diamonds also used this opportunity to bring messengers of peace and prosperity under one roof in order to disseminate the message of love, hope, and respect for one another.

Eminent messengers of peace from all Faiths – Mr. Radharaman Das, Vice President of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Sharanagato Sudama Das, ISKCON Kolkata, Mr. Kushal Chowdhury, Trustee, Dakshineshwar Temple, Md. Nissar Arzo, Moulabi of Moulali Mosque, Swami Vedatitananda, Sadhu of Ramkrishna Mission Silpamandira Belur Math, Sreeraj Mohanty, Father of ST. James Church, D Anand Peacock, Father of Circular Road Baptist Chapel Church, and Daljit Singh, Guru of Gurudwara Sahib (Bhawanipore) were present at the Senco Gold & Diamonds’ store at Moulali, Kolkata. Mr. Suvankar Sen, MD & CEO, Senco Gold & Diamonds, and Ms. Joita Sen, Director, Senco Gold & Diamonds also graced the occasion.

While planting the saplings, Senco teams also put up placards next to the sapling pots with the names of their lucky customers mentioned on them.

A great initiative to conserve Nature and also protect the environment. A great way to end 2022 and start 2023 indeed!!
