Puja songs took a backseat in the last few years. However, it has made a grand comeback in 2022 with many music companies and artists coming up with new songs and music albums.

Shaan has come up with a great dance mix for the listeners during the upcoming Durga Puja.

The song is called “Kadam Tolay Ke?” and has been composed by Shaan.

The Kolkata Mail correspondent caught up with Shaan and Trina Saha who were busy shooting the song at Burdwan Rajbari, New Alipore.

The song narrates the tale of two interior designers played by Shaan and Trina Saha. The boy is conventional while the girl has a modern approach. The Rajbari family decides to employ both of them. And there begins a fun banter between the two interior designers.

Shaan said “Kadam Tolay Ke is a catchphrase that we have used for the song. Not only have I sung the song but I have also been featured in the music video. Puja songs have been making a comeback and I thought that this is the right time to release a fun song that can be enjoyed by the people during the five days of festivity”.

The song has been sung by Shaan and June Banerjee.

The lyrics have been penned by Rajib Chakraborty.

Trina Saha said “We are having a great time shooting the song. This is a Puja song and the way it is being shot will be liked by the people. We are hoping to get positive feedback from the audience. It has been a wonderful experience shooting with Shaan, who has regaled us for many years with his melodious voice”.

The song has been directed and produced by Shakya Roy Choudhury, and the choreography has been done by Pratim Roy.

The song has great rhythms and an addictive chorus.
