Director Srijit Mukherji and actor Anirban Bhattacharya was present at Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick to promote their film Shahjahan Regency which is eyeing for release on 18^th January.

Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick are the sweet partners of the film.

Looking handsome in a yellow tee and dark coloured trousers, Anirban Bhattacharya cast a pretty picture at the shop. “I am not a sweet lover but yes I love eating some sweets like Rasomalai, Khirkodom and so on.  Though the film is not on food but the association with Balaram Mullick is a good one” said the actor.

The actor whose debut song Kichchu Chaini Ami has been getting much appreciation from the audience. The actor however said that 90 percent of the credit goes to Prasen, Srijit Mukherji and he can only be given the credit for singing the song. He also added that anyone with an idea of rhythm can do equal justice to the song.

Srijit Mukherji who is a sweet lover mentioned that the shop was nearby to his house and he was a frequent visitor to the shop. He said “We all need to reinterpret and reinvent the classics. Otherwise stagnation will happen. The other day I tried Gur Souffle and it tasted awesome. But people who love Gur in the conventional manner may not like it. They may think why make Gur Souffle? Shahjahan Regency is like Gur Souffle. You will surely like it”.

We also hope that the audience likes the film as much as the director and his team enjoyed making it!!
