Saif Ali Khan has won both critical and mass acclaim with his first-ever web series Sacred Games. He will be next seen in debutant Gauravv K Chawla’s upcoming Bollywood film Baazaar. The actor who had acted in myriad characters during his long career, threw light on the character of Shakun Kothari whom he portrays in the film. The actor found the character to be both complex as well as challenging. Shakun is a sharp, astute and money-minded merchant who has tricks up his sleeves to extract profit out of every business he undertakes.

Saif went on to talk about the preparations he had to undergo before essaying Shakun on screen. Not only did he read and research but he categorically chose to get a first-hand experience of the share market before he started off with his schedule.

The actor had some knowledge about the market by speaking with friends and reading books by Warren Buffet. The Gujarati businessman is a type and he had the tough job of breaking the caricature and making the character look scary and tough.

The film is scheduled to release on October 26.
