The much-awaited epic Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat from Nandy Movies and Jeetz Filmworks features Shantanu Moitra, the maestro of melodies, returning to the Bengali film industry and delivering his own charm. Superstar Jeet plays the captivating role of Ananta Singh in this film, which was directed by Pathikrit Basu and produced by Pradip Kumar Nandy & Jeet. This film is expected to be a landmark in modern Bengali cinema because of Pathikrit’s gripping narrative, Jeet’s powerful on-screen presence, and Shantanu Moitra’s soul-stirring music.

A string of well-planned robberies against the wealthy in Kolkata in the 1960s aroused curiosity and terror. Behind them stands Ananta, a mysterious, elderly person who is viewed as a rescuer by some and a criminal by others. The populace is split on whether Inspector Devi Rai is a robber or a revolutionary reborn as he launches an unrelenting manhunt. As a dedicated liberation fighter under Masterda Surya Sen during the independence campaign and as a disillusioned man witnessing the nation’s principles disintegrate in the face of corruption and greed, Ananta’s past is revealed through a series of timeline shifts.

Ananta fights a new war—this time for the poor—using his combat skills and strategic thinking because he cannot tolerate the betrayal of his values and turns to radical justice. Ananta turns into a story about rebellion, repentance, and the ethical price of justice as his history and present intersect.

The director said, “For my next period film, Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat, which is based on the life of rebel Ananta Singh, I am really honored to be collaborating with the renowned music director Shantanu Moitra. Something genuinely epic is already being shaped for this project by Shantanu da’s profound knowledge of historical places and his ability to combine timeless passion with historical realism. His ability to create music that is not only heard but also profoundly felt has always inspired me as a longtime fan of his work. I will always be impacted by movies like Sardar Udham, Wazir, Parineeta, and Madras Cafe because they are the ideal fusion of story, feeling, and cultural texture. I’m seeing firsthand how he combines history with music in our present cooperation, bringing to life not only the time period but the spirit of the revolution itself. Seeing a master at work is a unique opportunity, and I am eager for viewers to explore the universe he is building for Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat”.

I could see that filmmaker Pathikrrit is passionate about making this story come to life, and that enthusiasm is contagious. Additionally, I am excited to work with Jeet for the first time. It is incredibly inspiring how much effort and care he is putting into molding Ananta Singh’s character. I think this movie will be a memorable one because of the team’s dedication”.

A good film to look forward to!!
