Sharvari Is Now Godrej Professional’s First Brand Ambassador
Sharvari, a rising actress in Bollywood, was named Godrej Professional’s first brand ambassador. The announcement was made during the grand finale of Godrej Professional Spotlight, a national forum that honors hairstylists. Renowned for her remarkable roles in movies such as Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa, Sharvari embodies the brand’s dedication to empowerment, style, and self-assurance. She is the perfect face of Godrej Professional because of her beliefs and fashion-forward demeanor.
“Being the first brand ambassador for Godrej Professional is an honor. For more than 120 years, Indian households have trusted Godrej, a brand that has completely transformed the nation’s hair color market. They are well-known for their creative and superior hair color line, which includes Dimension & Colorplay. Whether I’m playing a character on screen or walking on the red carpet, my hair has always been a key component of my look. I was overjoyed to be asked to represent Godrej Professional because it fits with my own aesthetic” said the actress.
As the show-stopper revealing the hottest hair color and styling trends for 2025, Sharvari shone. The stunning showcase was curated by Godrej Professional’s dynamic trio: Yianni Tsapatori, Creative Director – Hair, Shailesh Moolya, National Technical Head, and Najeeb-Ur-Rehman, Technical Ambassador.
Godrej Professional also showcased Dimensions and Colourplay range of its hair colours.
Godrej Professional unveiled its brand ambassador and revealed the winners of Spotlight, a national platform that honors the inventiveness of hairstylists. Thirty finalists presented carefully chosen hair color styles in a lavish hair display out of the more than 400 entries that were received.
Bhavin Bavaliya, from Bonanza Beauty Lounge based in Rajkot, won First Place, receiving INR 5 lakh and the chance to collaborate with a celebrity. Priyanka Sinha of Kaixo Academy from Kolkata secured Second Place with INR 2.5 lakh, while Laltlan Kimi – Luv Salon from Bengaluru took Third Place with INR 1.5 lakh.
The jury consisted of celebrity stylist Yianni Tsapatori, (Creative Director – Hair, Godrej Professional), Monica Bahl (CEO of Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council), Kanishka Ramchandani (Editor, Professional Beauty Hairdressers Journal India), and actress Adaa Khan and Helly Shah.
Through the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC), an Awarding Body of the National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the 30 shortlisted hair stylists completed the “Recognition of Prior Learning” certification program through Spotlight. The hairstylists who completed this program were certified by the Government of India following the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). The certificate can now be used by the 30 hair stylists to get financing for their business ventures.
More than 300 hair stylists attended the Godrej Professional Spotlight event, which celebrated hair talent and the spirit of fashion.
