Columbaas Digiplex announced the release of “Shock Studio,” an innovative musical initiative at Klubb 10, a fantastic club in Gariahat, Kolkata.

The occasion was graced by Pandit Debojyoti Bose, Director Jiit Chakroborty, Music Director Pinaki Bose,  Somlata Acharyya, Tirtha Bhattacharjee, Subhankar Bhaskar, and others.

Shock Studio is a novel way to exhibit a variety of musical genres in a fusion form or another, including combining classical music with modern styles, folk music with bhajans, and Rabindrasangeet with classical music, according to Sukanya Gupta, owner of Columbaas Digiplex.

Director Jiit highlighted that Shock Studio’s goal is to engage listeners with various musical preferences and showcase traditional music in a way that appeals to a younger audience.

The joint efforts of several well-known and exceptionally gifted singers and musicians, including Pinaki Bose, Manomoy Bhattacharya, Saikat Mitra, Manomoy Chakraborty, Nachiketa, Somlata Acharyya, Shovan, and Iman Chakraborty, were emphasized by Pandit Debojyoti Bose.

Somlata Acharyya said “It is a great initiative as I cannot think of a music album with so many artists that have come out in recent times. Initiatives of this kind are a treat for the listeners as they can listen to different musical genres”.

The makers also announced that Shock Studio will be available on the YouTube channel “Columbaas Digiplex” and all major audio platforms such as Gaana, Saavn, Spotify, Wynk, and more.
