The highly awaited documentary feature film directed by renowned filmmaker Mozez Singh, about the life and career of seminal Indian rapper and hip-hop artist Yo-Yo Honey Singh, just wrapped up shooting.

The director has succeeded in breaking many limits when it comes to his skill and vision after producing the hugely popular online series Human, starring Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari. He also directed the well-received film Zubaan with Vicky Kaushal, and he has since ventured into the area of documentary filmmaking.

The progressive director said, “Working on this documentary feature has been the most exhilarating experience for me. My introduction to the hypnotic realm of documentary filmmaking and one of the most adrenaline-filled creative experiences of my career was the roller coaster that is YoYo Honey Singh’s universe. Mozez Singh’s feature on Yo-Yo Honey Singh promises an intimate and illuminating portrayal of the artist’s life and career. The teaser is already out and the documentary will release on one of the most esteemed OTT platform Netflix. Apart from this documentary, Mozez Singh will soon begin working on his next feature film, which is a mind-bending thriller and the with which he returns to the fiction space.
