Raghu Dakat, a grand cinematic adaptation of the legendary folklore surrounding the mysterious dacoit who was feared by some and revered by many, began filming recently. In a never-before-seen spectacle, his story—that of a messiah to the oppressed—now comes to life on the big screen.

With a stellar cast that includes Dev, Anirban Bhattacharya, Idhika Paul, Sohini Sarkar, and Roopa Ganguly, Raghu Dakat is a joint production of SVF Entertainment and Dev Entertainment Ventures, directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. The film’s ambitious production, which is currently in full-scale preparations, features a lavish 100-foot set in addition to numerous other impressive features that are sure to enthrall viewers.

Its grand release will take place against the backdrop of Puja, making Raghu Dakat a festive spectacle to behold.
