The shooting of Aakash Aath’s mega serial Tomaay Hridmajhare Raakhbo was in progress at a South Kolkata residence.

The story is a tale of love and sacrifice. The prosperity of the Roychowdhury family is diminishing with time. Radha and Meera are daughters of the family. Meera is the elder sister and takes on the responsibility of running the home and sacrifices her education. Radha is a meritorious student and wants to become a lawyer. When a person named Shyam enters the sister’s life, their life gets disrupted. What happens next?

The cast of this serial consist of Priyantika Karmakar (Radha), Katha Chakraborty (Meera), Parthiv Banerjee (Shyam), Kushal Chakraborty (Agnishwar, Radha and Meera’s father), Pushpita Mukherjee (Bijoya, Radha and Meera’s mother), Meghna Halder (Aruna, Shyam’s aunt), Arnab Bhadra (Satyajit, Shyam’s uncle) and Debdutta Raha (Sameer).

Meghna Halder said “I play an evil character and so is my son in this serial. The other characters are very positive. Despite having nothing, my character feels that whatever the Roychowdhury family has belongs to her. It is due to this feeling that she bosses over everyone else”.

Kushal Chakraborty said that he had been working with Aakash Aath for the past 20 years. The story is unique and the director and production team is carefully doing the work, added the actor.

Pushpita plays the role of Bijoya who becomes handicapped after an accident. “My role is small in this serial. The character dies after a few episodes. I have several scenes in a wheelchair. However, the director and the team have been very careful during the shooting. It is a great experience shooting with the team. Despite the heat and humidity, I am enjoying the work” said the actress.

The director of the serial is Sajal Bose.

The music and background score is by Pranjal. Srija, Suman Mickey Chatterjee has sung the songs in the serial.

The DOP is Satya Ranjan Dinda.

Saumyabha Goswami has written the story and screenplay.

Upasona Chowdhury has penned down the dialogues of this mega serial.

The mega serial will be aired from 6^th June, Monday to Saturday, at 7.30 pm only on Aakash Aath.
