Presented by Subrata Nandy, produced by Subrata Nandy Entertainment, and directed by Kingshuk Dey, the shooting of the action-packed corporate crime thriller ‘Guts’ took place in different places in Kolkata.

The film’s cast consists of eminent actors like Rajatava Dutta, Shantilal Mukherjee, Biswanath Bose, Anindya Pulak Bandopadhyay, Pradip Dhar, Abhiraj, Abhiroop Chowdhury, Subrata Nandy in pivotal roles.

Along with these popular names, new faces like Aritra Goswami, Aritram Mukherjee, Suman Roy, Maumita Basu, Yukta Rakshit, Haimanti Ganguly and others will also be seen in major important characters in Guts.

Poulomi, Tina, and Shabana, three unhappy girls from various backgrounds who struggle in life, are the subject of Guts. They make the decision to take their own lives, but at that very moment, Mafia Scout Ena picks them up. She persuades them to stay, and she brings them into the Mafia gang, where they are taught various activities to become the executors of the shadowy corporate world. These girls are supported by Mafia Don Rafique Khan, who also adopts them as his own children. Activities from the “dark world” include assassinations, kidnappings, extortion, and honey traps.

On the other hand, six STF police officers—four boys and two girls—follow and pursue the dark world’s operations since Don Rafique Khan first appeared. Every time they approach the Mafias, they are unable to apprehend them. The movie will have some dramatic action scenes and pursuit scenes, which are uncommon in Bengali movies today.

The film was shot in locations like Charcharia & Bypass, Narayani Studio, and other places.

Rajatava Dutta will be seen playing the role of a police commissioner in the film.

The film is eyeing for release in 2023.
