The shooting of the upcoming Bengali film War took place recently. Present at the shooting was Shantilal Mukherjee, Mousumi Saha, director Srijeet, Pratik Saha, Tithi Roy and others.

The story revolves around Manasi Chatterjee and her son Arjun. She is a district magistrate by profession. She also looks after a boy named Ganesh and treats him like her own son. Arjun and Ganesh are good friends. Arjun completes his college. Though he may be very casual with his life, he loves his mother very much. His mother due to her work had to deal with bad guys. His mother gets kidnapped. What happens next?

Mousumi Saha plays the role of Manasi Chatterjee in the film. “I have played many times the role of a mother. However this time, the lady is a working lady and despite being a mother, she is a tough woman. I am working for the first time with Srijeet and he is a disciplined director. Working with him is a good experience” said the actress.

Shantilal Mukherjee plays the role of Bijoy Singh in the film. He is a businessman who is not a good person. He is involved in various illegal works. The actor praised the director for his professional attitude that he displayed during the shoot of the film.

The film is eyeing for release soon.
