The shooting of the English short film An Evening…in my life was in progress at the ground opposite Fort William.

Present at the shooting was Samrat Mukherjee, Maadhurima, director Sanat Dutta and others.

The story is about Avinav and Sheetal who were lovers once upon a time. But now they are married to other people. The story revolves around their life, how they plan to meet each other after ten years and what happens then.

Samrat Mukherjee who is a well known actor had directed many short films but had acted in only one or two of them. So the actor was visibly happy to be acting in one. He had worked with the director in a feature film Handcuff along with Rituparna Sengupta eight years ago.

“The story will touch the hearts of the NRIs. The script is so well written and highlights on the relationships of the people. How people leave their home and country to pursue their career and what they achieve as a result has been shown in this film. A good story” said the actor.

The story and screenplay is by Debolina Das. The music is by Rupendu Basu.
