The shooting of the upcoming Bengali film Archie was held recently in Kolkata.

The film gives the message about the objectifying of women in society and how in today’s world also women support patriarchy. Domestic violence and the effects of social media, which are burning issues of our time will also be shown in the film.

Produced under the banner of P&P Entertainment, the film is the second venture of P&P Entertainment after the immensely successful movie Sweater.

The film is directed by Joydip Banerjee.

Sourav Das, Anirban Bhattacharya, Alivia Sarkar, Amit Saha, Payel Roy, Kasturi Chakroborty will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The shooting of the film is in progress in different parts of Kolkata.
