The shooting of the Bengali film Dwipantar was in progress at a shooting spot in Nimta.
Grandson Sayan wants to know the whereabouts of his parents from his grandmother. His grandmother takes him to a college professor of his father who narrates the whole story to him. His parents went on a college picnic and they get lost. They were searched but to no avail. However after few months, his father is discovered on an island alone. His mother had died while giving birth to him and his father did not want to come back. What happens next?
