‘Dure Thaka Kacher Manush’ is a first India- Bangladesh fund raising initiative in this lock down. The film is by Shaherear Polock and produced by TVWALA MEDIA (Kolkata) and PREKKAGREEHO VISUAL FACTORY PRODUCTION (Dhaka).

This story is of a man reliving his past relations during a 14 days home quarantine after returning to Kolkata from London.

The cast of the film consists of Vikram Chatterjee as Dipto, Rafiath Rashid Mithila as Shaon Bonya Parveen in pivotal roles.

The story of the film is by Abhra Chakraborty

The duration of the film is 12 minutes 05 seconds.

Vikram Chatterjee said that it was a huge challenge to shoot the film as all the cast and crew were completing the shoot from their homes.

Mithila who is busy with household chores and her daughter mentioned that shooting the film was a welcome break for her. She also added that many technicians in both the industries have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. In this way, they will be able to help them out.

This Production is to facilitate the Fund Raising Initiative to support the daily wages worker of Dhaka Film Industry and Kolkata Film Industry.

None of the actors, technicians, director, writer and publicity professionals took any remuneration for this short film.

The music has been composed by BeatKol Music.
