Shrachi Sports Ventures- Focus To Integrate Sports & Real Estate
With a varied portfolio that includes engineering, EPC, stationery, agricultural tools, real estate development, and sports, Shrachi Group is making a major splash in the sports world with tennis great Leander Paes leading the diversification as an on-court partner.
The company’s recently launched sports vertical, Shrachi Sports Ventures (SSV), has partnered with Leander in a strategic partnership. SSV’s goals include developing a culture that values sports as a way of life by developing young talent and providing a wealth of employment opportunities for former athletes through a network of centers of excellence. The alliance wants to make India healthier and more fit.
Shrachi Sports Ventures (SSV), which aims to invest up to Rs 300 crore in building sports facilities and acquiring sports teams, was founded as a result of this partnership. The partnership between Leander Peas and Rahul Todi, the managing director of the Shrachi Group, from Kolkata, represents a revolutionary step in the integration of sports and real estate.
SSV’s approach goes beyond just building sporting facilities. SSV was founded to foster sports development as well as incorporate sports facilities into Shrachi’s real estate projects in key locations. This multipronged strategy aims to develop a vibrant sports culture that can expand and enhance sports infrastructure while also encouraging an athletic and well-being-focused culture.
Creating an Olympic-level infrastructure with cutting-edge training facilities run by elite coaches and systems with structured modules for different age groups across numerous disciplines is the first joint venture initiative of the Shrachi-Leander coupling. This multi-sport facility, which includes sports science, analytics, sports medicine, and nutrition, will be the first of its kind in India.
A trademark athleisure line of clothing and other items, large-format real estate projects with elite sports facilities, sports, and fitness equipment, and much more are among the co-branding touchpoints that the collaboration will work on.
Additionally, plans are in motion to work with select Maidan sports clubs to increase the bandwidth of existing infrastructure by constructing artificial playing fields and expanding their facilities. This would improve member satisfaction and generate income.
